Porthole is an unofficial, independent application for viewing Telegram on Apple TV. This policy explains how Porthole handles your information. In short: Porthole does not collect it.

Data We Collect

None. The developer operates no servers and has no access to your messages, contacts, media, or account. We do not collect, receive, store off your device, or sell any personal data.

Data Stored on Your Device

To function, Porthole stores your Telegram login session, a local cache of messages and media, and your app settings. This data is kept only on your Apple TV, managed by Telegram's official library (TDLib), and is not transmitted to the developer.

Connection to Telegram

Porthole connects directly to Telegram's servers. Your use of Telegram — including the messages and content you access — is governed by Telegram's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Porthole is not affiliated with or endorsed by Telegram.

No Tracking or Analytics

Porthole contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software. It does not track you across other apps or websites, and it uses no advertising identifier.

Children

Porthole is not directed to children and is rated for mature audiences due to the unrestricted nature of third-party content available on Telegram.
