A few steps to help you get started.

Start with your normal viewing setup

Dim the room and use your normal viewing distance. Open Screen Tests and choose one test, or run Quick Test to go through all six. Observe each pattern for a few seconds.

How do I use the remote?

Press left or right to switch patterns while the controls are hidden. Press up or click the touch surface to show controls. Press Back to leave full-screen testing.

Can I control automatic advancement?

Patterns advance every 10 seconds by default. Use Auto-Advance in Settings to turn it off. The playback control lets you pause or resume.

How do I change the language?

Open Settings → Language. Choose System, 简体中文 or English. The interface changes immediately and remembers your choice.

What does Reset Settings clear?

It clears the display name and remembered pattern choices, turns Auto-Advance on and restores the system language. You stay on the Settings tab. Deleting the app removes all saved preferences.

Does Pixelyn calibrate or repair my TV?

Pixelyn provides visual SDR reference patterns. It does not repair pixels, measure color accuracy, automatically calibrate a panel or decide whether a display passes. Use your own observations.

Why do the screen values differ from my TV specifications?

The app shows values reported by Apple TV for the current display environment. These are not a full list of panel capabilities, an HDMI signal measurement, or a measured gamut coverage.
